Praise the Lord!
March 2010
Praise the Lord for his mighty works! We are rejocing with Brother Andrew Mitchell who received the Holy Ghost Sunday Evening, March 21st, 2010. We have been
learning about the simplicity that is in Christ and watching Brother Andrew come to know the Lord, become a believer and receive his precious salvation was
a beautiful and wonderful thing to behold. We praise our Lord for he knows exactly how to bless us in what we need. Brother Andrew now has
the precious gift of eternal life, and what could be more magnificent than eternity with Jesus Christ, our Lord? Amen!
January 2010
Thank you Jesus Christ for your precious salvation! The church enjoyed a weeklong revival in January and we enjoyed the special
fellowship with Pastors Ronnie Boyd from Juniata, PA and John Boyd from Gaffney, SC. We especially had a lot to rejoice about as
we shared in witnessing Brother Aaron Cayson receive the Holy Ghost on Sunday night. His testimony was that he had come to service
hungry that night for salvation, and he was leaving full of the precious Holy Ghost! We praise the Lord for his wonderful works!
October 2009
The church has spent this summer "Working on a Building!" and the remodeling is almost complete!
We invite you to join us in service and see the fruit of many labors. We thank all our brothers,
sisters and our Pastor for their joint efforts. Truly many hands have made a beautiful work of
our church building!
June 2008
We are rejoicing with another brother who was born into the kingdom of God yesterday! Bro. Evan Kelly received the Holy Ghost on Sunday evening,
June 15th, 2008. Bro. Evan was visiting from Ohio, where he attends the Church of Jesus Christ in Negly under Pastor Ronald Boyd. We began to touch
the Lord in prayer as we gathered for service on Sunday evening. The Holy Ghost was moving, the spirit of the Lord was present and Bro. Evan pressed
through to receive God's blessings. What greater joy is there than to see a brother or sister filled with the Holy Ghost! We are rejoicing with Bro. Evan and
we are praying for everyone else who is still seeking! Thank you, Jesus, for your precious salvation! Amen!
Joel 2:27-32 says, "And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I
am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall
come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And
also upon the servants and upon
the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew
wonders in the heavens and in the
earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned
into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall
come to pass, that whosoever shall call on
the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and
in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD
hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
