“I’ve got it, yes I’ve got it. Oh, I’ve got it, yes I’ve got it.
There’s something about this Holy Ghost, Praise the Lord, because I’ve got it!”
Praise the Lord, Church. I now sing a new song with truth and I am very grateful, because the Lord
has blessed me and filled me with his precious Holy Ghost.
God has been so good to me, I remember having to work that day, December 25, 2011, and it was such a long day. I was an hour late coming to church,
everyone was at the alter praying and song service was going on. I came in feeling so weary and tired from working, as soon as I knelt down to pray,
I spoke these words to God “Lord, give me life!”
And that is exactly what I received that night.
John 10:27-30 says “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
I and my Father are one.”
I was seeking him, and suddenly began to speak in tongues and magnify God. It truly was wonderful and powerful. God wanted me to seek him on High,
to praise him more and when I received the Holy Ghost I shouted Hosanna! I just feel so grateful that the Lord has blessed me and that I know I’ve made it.
Of all that happened that night at the alter, I am sure of this, that God gave me the Holy Ghost and sealed me until the day of redemption.
Ephesians 1:13-14 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed,
ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
I had sought for the Holy Ghost for many years. With much praise, and many nights, waking up and crying out to him. I was determined that night, once I touched God; I was not letting Him go.
Psalm 126:5 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
I believe in God, and I believe in receiving the Holy Ghost, but I found out that I did not believe I was worthy or would ever receive it.
I didn’t have the confidence in myself to realize that God had been there with me all along. Nevertheless, I know God is still God and even though I did not feel worthy.
I still praised him, because He is Worthy. He Blessed me in that praise and showed me I was and am counted worthy.
Hebrews 10:35-37 “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.”
This scripture came to my mind while I was praising him and it was just suddenly after I thought on this, I received him. God’s word is true because
Malachi 3:1 says
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”
God is so Good, Church, and I enjoy rejoicing in him now, more than ever before.
Isaiah 61:10-11 “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the rob of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause the righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.”
May all be blessed, and those that are seeking God, find him and be filled with his Holy Ghost, it is the Greatest Blessing of all.
With love and Prayers,
Sister Stacie Holland., 23 years old, Holy Ghost filled December 25th, 2011
